When I bought the Carry I was already amassing parts to swap the headlights over to the super-cute round version but it turned out that would’ve required serious surgery and I just couldn’t bring myself to mess with such a clean little truck. Swapping repeaters though? That’s much easier…

Here in the UK I remember a set of oh-so-JDM clear side repeaters was highly coveted in Cappuccino circles (I think it’s a popular, simple mod in the wider Japanese car community too) but I’ve always preferred full orange housings to clear. To give the Carry the same rosy-orange cheeks as the first Carry I ever saw I headed over to Croooober (yes, with that many Os) and got a pair of orange repeaters slow-boated over to the UK for not much money at all. Time to arrive? Around 10 weeks. Time to fit? About 10 minutes!
