When a 4 litre engine can’t spin up an alternator it must be pretty stuck…

With copious amounts of WD40 and elbow grease the alternator freed off a little bit on the car but in the end it made more sense to get it on the bench where there was more room to work. Unfortunately the alternator refused to play ball even off the car and so it was down to eBay to save the day, which it did with a reasonably-priced second hand example which arrived a few days later. Nothing could drown out the silky six-in-a-row this time…
